MODERN LOFT

With picturesque views of the San Francisco Bay, this luxurious loft offers the best of urban living. This top-floor home is steps away from the Ferry Building and the on-site concierge brings ease to daily life. Our design removed an entry wall to offer views of the blue water beyond as one opens the front door. We were also able to expand the kitchen footprint and move another wall to increase the dining area. We cut a glass wall into the primary bedroom for sea views from the bed and installed a glass handrail to make the loft feel more spacious. In contrast to the crisp white walls elsewhere, we clad the living room and office in gorgeous rift-cut white oak walls and a custom oak wood slat ceiling brings both a bespoke feel and warmth to the space. The primary bathroom is clad in a light grey Avenza marble with a one-of-a-kind mosaic pattern on the shower walls complemented by a custom white oak floating vanity and millwork. We used a unique patterned concrete tile in the second bedroom for a subtle edgy vibe and selected walnut for the vanity wood for a touch of timelessness. Throughout the home select grade, wide-plank natural oak floors are used as well as Dornbracht fixtures. The kitchen is made with white matte Italian Fenix and hand-selected Carrera marble clads the long island as well as the backsplashes.
