Located on one of the most picturesque streets in Saint Francis Wood, the full interior renovation of this Tudor Manor home respects its traditional heritage while updating for modern living. The proportions of key rooms were preserved and the footprints of the kitchen and primary bathroom were thoughtfully increased.  A wall on the main level was removed to allow the kitchen to expand and visually connect to the rear yard beyond, and the primary bath comfortably allows for a double vanity and steam shower. His and hers offices were created, complete with custom millwork and English hardware that express the home's ethos. All the existing windows and doors were replaced in kind, and in addition to the primary bathroom two additional bathrooms were renovated and a powder room was added on the lowest level. The furniture and finishes all embrace an understated elegance, the home feels at once sophisticated and casual.
